To all at new design,
Being of a certain age, a full replacement kitchen has been a long journey for us taking much pondering over design, specification, concern over finding very good tradesmen, all to meet a budget. Having almost got there with you about three years ago, then getting cold feet, when we decided a few months ago that we really did need a replacement, we had no hesitation in returning to yourselves. Yes, as expected we obtained other quotes and ideas but throughout, our minds were somewhat set that if at all achievable we wanted yourselves. With the job now complete we put pen to paper to say a big thank you and how pleased we are.
Helen and Shaun in the showroom were so patient and helpful and must have been tested to the limit with our numerous visits and queries, yet were always there with reliable and trusted advice. it was also good to meet the fitter Paul on a couple of occasions, that gave us added confidence.
Wishing to avoid the pitfalls of self project management, what a great guy Paul is, he arranged for the team of plasterer (Alistair), electrician (Lee) and tiler (Chris) to visit, quote, answer queries, amend quotes as our ideas finalised then finally carry out the work to our satisfaction. Having been worried during the lead up, when the day arrived, bingo, just like clockwork, the skip arrived, old kitchen out. Lee in to first fix followed by Alistair, Paul back to install, the cupboards and white goods ect arriving in sequence as planned, each tradesman and company either texting or phoning us to update their specific timings, Lee's second fix then the favourite bit (because the job is almost done!), Chirs arriving to do the tiling. Half a day left for Paul to finish the plinths and a few bits, job complete, handshakes all round, why had we been so worried!
Nothing was too much trouble for the men be it an extra shelf, fixing the bracket and telly to the wall, collecting the tiles, keeping the site tidy, cleaning up and always so polite.
