NEFF Integrated Dishwashers: Which Model Is Right for Your Kitchen?
Neff N90 fully integrated dishwasher in cream 60cm wide

You’ve decided you want a NEFF integrated dishwasher. Good call. But then you start browsing the range and find yourself staring at model codes like S153HKX02G, S275HCX10G and S275ECX12G, wondering what actually separates them – and whether the price difference is worth it.

You’re not alone. NEFF’s product range is broad, and the jump between tiers isn’t always obvious from a spec sheet. So we’ve put this guide together to explain the range clearly, model by model, so you can make the right decision for your kitchen, your household, and your budget.

One thing worth saying from the outset: at New Design Kitchens in Cannock, we’re a NEFF MasterPartner®. That means we have specialised knowledge of NEFF appliances, stock a range of models, and can give you honest, informed advice without a sales script. If you’re designing a new kitchen or replacing an existing appliance, we’re here to help you get it right.

How the NEFF integrated dishwasher range is structured

NEFF organises its integrated dishwashers into tiers – N50, N70 and N90. The higher the number, the more features you get. But it’s worth understanding what that actually means in practice, because the differences between tiers are more specific than “better or worse”.

What changes as you move up the range is:

  • The wash programmes and specialist settings
  • The drying technology
  • The internal flexibility and racking system
  • The noise level
  • The energy rating and efficiency
  • The smart connectivity options

Now let’s look at what each tier actually means to you on a day-to-day basis.

The N50: solid, reliable, no frills

The N50 is the entry point into the NEFF integrated dishwasher range, and entry point does not mean compromise. You get a 14-place setting capacity, a full suite of core wash programmes, and NEFF’s build quality throughout. It will clean your dishes quietly and efficiently, day in, day out.

What you give up compared to higher tiers is the more advanced drying technology, the flexible racking system, and the smart connectivity. The N50 uses hot air drying rather than Zeolith®, which is effective but not quite as thorough on plastics. Racking is more conventional, which suits most households perfectly well.

The N50 makes strong sense for a kitchen where the dishwasher is used regularly but without any particular demands. If you want a good integrated NEFF dishwasher that does exactly what it says and doesn’t ask anything complicated of you, this is it.

Who is the N50 for? Someone who wants NEFF quality and an integrated finish without paying for smart features they won’t use. A practical choice for a second kitchen, a rental property, or anyone replacing a dishwasher on a sensible budget.

The N70: the one most households choose

If you ask most kitchen specialists which integrated NEFF dishwasher they’d recommend for everyday family use, the N70 is usually the answer. It sits at the sweet spot between performance and price, and the step up from the N50 is more meaningful than the cost difference alone suggests.

The headline upgrade on select N70 models is Zeolith® drying. This is worth understanding, because it’s genuinely different from conventional drying. Zeolith is a natural mineral that releases heat when it absorbs moisture. During the drying cycle, moisture from your dishes is absorbed by the Zeolith granules, which in turn produce heat that dries the interior. The result is significantly better drying – especially on plastics, which conventional hot air drying often leaves damp. And because Zeolith works through a physical process rather than heated air alone, it’s also more energy efficient.

The N70 also introduces the Flex 3 racking system. The third rack – a shallow upper drawer – handles cutlery, spatulas, ladles and awkward flat items that would otherwise take up valuable basket space below. This sounds like a small thing until you’ve used it. The amount of extra room it frees up in the lower basket makes a real difference when loading a full wash.

Noise levels drop to as low as 44dB on N70 models, which is genuinely quiet. In an open-plan kitchen or one that flows into a living space, this matters more than most people realise until they’re actually living with the appliance.

The Home Connect app is available across the N70 range. This lets you start and monitor cycles remotely, check how long is left, and receive notifications when the wash is finished. For households where someone is often heading out mid-cycle, this is genuinely useful rather than a novelty.

Who is the N70 for? Most people. If you cook regularly, run the dishwasher daily, and want the combination of efficient drying, flexible racking and smart connectivity, the N70 delivers it at a price that is hard to fault.

The N90: for those who want the very best

The N90 is NEFF’s flagship integrated dishwasher, and the differences from the N70 are meaningful rather than marginal. Particularly if you have a busy household or high expectations of what a dishwasher should do.

Zeolith® drying comes as standard across the N90 range, rather than being limited to select models. The racking system upgrades to Flex 3 Pro, which offers greater adjustability across all three levels. Taller glasses, larger pans and unusually shaped items that can be awkward to fit elsewhere load more easily here.

Noise levels on the top N90 models drop to 42dB or below, which is exceptionally quiet for a full-size integrated dishwasher. In a kitchen that’s used hard, with children, late-night cycles, or an open-plan layout, this level of quiet running makes a genuine difference.

The energy ratings at N90 level sit at A, reflecting both the efficiency of the Zeolith® drying system and the precision of the wash programmes themselves. If running costs matter to you over the life of the appliance, the N90 makes a case for itself on efficiency grounds alone.

Who is the N90 for? A household that runs the dishwasher once or twice daily and wants it to perform without compromise every single time. Someone designing a kitchen that will be used seriously, and wants appliances to match that ambition. Anyone who has been frustrated by damp plastics or cramped racking in a previous machine and doesn’t want to make the same compromise again.

A note on sizing: standard or slimline?

Before committing to a model, it’s worth confirming which size fits your kitchen. NEFF integrated dishwashers come in two widths: 60cm standard and 45cm slimline.

The 60cm models offer 14 place settings and suit most family kitchens. The 45cm slimline models typically hold around 9 to 10 place settings and are designed for smaller kitchens where cabinet space is limited. The slimline range still includes N50 and N70 tier models, so you don’t have to sacrifice quality to fit a narrower machine.

If you’re not sure which fits your cabinet, it’s worth measuring before you visit us – or simply bring the measurements along and we’ll help you work it out.

Come and see the range for yourself

There is no real substitute for talking to someone who knows these appliances properly.

You can spend an afternoon reading specification sheets and comparison tables. But the questions that actually matter – how does it fit my cabinet, which programmes will I actually use, is Zeolith® drying worth it for my household – are the ones that benefit from a proper conversation rather than a webpage.
